Container bags are not recommended for long-term use in high and low temperature environments

Container bag is a kind of container unit realization, is also a kind of flexible transport packaging container. Widely used in food, grain, medicine, chemical, mineral products and other powdery, granular, block goods transportation and packaging. There are also many kinds of container bags, common coated cloth bags, resin cloth bags, composite bags and so on. So, in what kind of environment are container bags used? What temperature can container bags withstand? Follow Xiaobian together to understand it!

Container bag raw materials

The container is a flexible plastic container with polypropylene and polyethylene resin as raw materials, the volume of which is less than 3m3 and the bearing mass is less than or equal to 3 tons.

polypropylene

Melting point 165℃, softening at about 155℃;

The operating temperature ranges from -30°C to 140 °C.

It can resist the corrosion of acid, alkali, salt solution and a variety of organic solvents below 80℃, and can decompose under high temperature and oxidation.

polythene

Melting point 85℃ to 110℃, with excellent low temperature resistance;

The use temperature can reach -100°C to -70°C, good chemical stability, resistance to most acid and base erosion (not resistant to acid with oxidizing properties)

Container bag use temperature?

What is the temperature range of container bags made of polypropylene and polyethylene?

According to the national standard GB/T10454-2000, the cold resistance test temperature of the container bag is -35℃.

Place the container bag in a -35℃ constant temperature box for more than 2 hours, and then fold the test product in half to 180 degrees to check whether the substrate material is damaged, cracked and other abnormal conditions.

The heat resistance test temperature is 80℃.

Apply a load of 9.8N to the test product and place it in an oven at 80℃ for 1h. Immediately after taking out the test product, separate the two overlapping test pieces and check the surface for adhesion, cracks and other abnormal conditions.

According to the test standard, the container bag can be used in the environment of -35 ° C to 80 ° C, but it is not recommended for long-term use in high and low temperature environments.
