1. Base fabric material
When designing a ton bag, we must first understand the weight of the loaded goods, and determine the ton bag volume according to the specific gravity of the package. It also depends on whether the material loaded is sharp, strong block material. If so, the bottom cloth should be thicker when designing the ton bag, and on the contrary, it can be thinner. In the actual design, the ton bag with a load of 500kg generally uses (150-170)G/m2 substrate, the vertical and horizontal tensile strength of the substrate is (1470-1700)N/5cm, and the elongation is 20-35%. The ton bag weighs more than 1000 kg. The base cloth is generally used (170~210)G/m2. The longitudinal and transverse tensile strength of the base cloth is (1700-2000)N/5cm, and the elongation is 20~35%.
2. Structural design
In the design of the ton bag structure, the strength of the conventional belt in the specification should reach more than twice the strength of the base cloth, but the design effect is not good in practice. Because of the difference in strength between the backcloth and the belt, the backcloth will crack first. In the design, the belt and the backing cloth should use the opposite strength of the backing cloth to prevent this problem.
3. Sewing process

The anti-aging function of the suture and the effect of the suture on the tensile strength of the substrate were considered. In the packaging of powder, toxic, afraid of purification of items, the first to solve the sealing problem. Therefore, in the actual design, the ton bag is sewn with thick thread and fine needle or non-woven fabric and bottom cloth to improve the sealing. In addition, when sewing tons of bags, it is required to use polyester thread with a strength of more than 18kg to ensure that the sewing strength meets the standard.
4, monofilament strength
In order to ensure the strength of ton bag base cloth, it is necessary to increase the tensile strength of flat wire. The strength of the flat wire should reach more than 0.4N/tex, and the elongation should be 15-30%. In the actual production process, the amount of filler masterbatch needs to be strictly controlled, generally about 2%. If too much masterbatch is added or recycled material is added, the strength of the substrate will decrease. Therefore, it is necessary to strictly control the quality of raw materials, and the drawing raw materials consumed by in-orbit manufacturers with melt index reaching the standard are selected for ton bags.
